A Deceptive Imprint: The First London Edition of Minell's Commentary on Horace, in The Library, vol. 17, no.2 (2016)
The first English-printed edition of Horace's 'Poemata' with commentary by Jan Minell was published in London in 1676. A close inspection of it presents a number of puzzles. This article shows how and why the publishers concealed its true origins.

Troubles Faced by an Inexperienced Young Printer: George de Backer’s Edition of Racine, 1699/1700, in Quaerendo, vol. 43, no. 2 (2013)
This article demonstrates that the imprint by Paris, Jean Pralart, 1699-1700, on an edition of Racine's 'Oeuvres' is fictitious. It is another issue of the edition printed by George de Backer in Brussels. The article considers the problems faced by the printer and the measures he took which have resulted in different states of the edition.
